Philip Classics is all about passion. It all started as a hobby back in the day. Today I can’t call it hobby anymore because a hobby is some thing done regularly in one’s leisure time. This has developed into a full time passion. Like I always say “This is like a terminal Illness. It is incurable!”
My collection mainly consist of General Motor vehicles from as early as 1926 to the 1980’s. Most of which was bought and restored in South Africa but we have also imported 22 cars so far from the United States. I also like, to not only collect cars but a series of a certain model e.g Chevy Coupes from 1931 to 1941 , Phaetons from 1926 to 1928, Chevrolet wagons from 1953 to 1960, 7 Cadillac Coupes, The full 1960 Chevrolet model range – a Coupe,a Wagon,a Convertible,a El Camino LDV and a Pillar less model.
The rest of the collection consist of all Impalas – 1960 to 1964 Impala Coupes, 1918 LDV’s plus 5 others. Corvettes 1969 and 1989. Vintage tractors, motorcycles etc. Please view them on the “Gallery” page.
Because my collection expanded so rapidly I had to get a full time crew of qualified artisans to assist with the restorations. We do rotisserie restorations and import all the hard to find parts from America.
The collection totals 52 cars in running condition and 19 yet to be restored. To share my passion and the legacy of the cars I have made all the cars available for rental for any function or films or photo shoots.
